RECOVERY. WEIGHT LOSS. THE REBUILD.
I’ve battled drug addiction and experienced what it means to need a different direction in life. At 265 pounds, I also faced the reality that my health and fitness needed to change. On a family beach trip in 2022, struggling to keep up with my kids became a wake-up call.
I started with manageable changes: moving more, improving my nutrition, and learning to train consistently. I didn’t have a perfect plan or unlimited time. I had work, family responsibilities, and a decision to keep showing up.
So I simplified. Same breakfast and lunch all week, meal prepped every Sunday. Fresh dinners cooked at home with my family every night. No fancy meals — just consistency.
Over time I went from 265 pounds to 165 — a 100-pound loss. Since then, my focus has shifted toward rebuilding muscle, getting stronger, and continuing to improve. My journey is still a work in progress.
